The Downtown community council is a little different than the other councils in the downtown district in that many of the members aren’t residents but people who own property or work downtown. Nothing wrong with that, of course, and that’s not really the reason for this post.
Instead I wanted to let you know that, after about a year’s absence due to construction, DCC meetings are moving back into the museum. One trick though, the meeting room isn’t available on the usual night (the first Thursday of each month) so meetings are migrating to the first Wednesday of each month at least through May. That means the next DCC meeting is tonight (February 2) rather than tomorrow so if you’re planning to attend please adjust your schedule!

Patrick Flynn
